Spanish Speaking Countries and Capitals

It is important, when studying spanish that you are aware of some of the countries who have Spanish as the national language. You will be quizzed on knowing the countries and capitals so the links below may help you study. (be aware that Brazil is mentioned in the rap song  for South America but has Portuguese as it's official language. Spain is not included in the song since it is in Europe but you need to know the capital .

Spanish Proverbs

Learning  proverbs and idioms can be a fun way to learn about the people that speak the language. I will post the ones we study in class as well as new ones here. Remember, you can't determine the meaning with a literal translation,so you will have to think about it. If you are an artist and would like to draw a picture to illustrate one of these, I will publish your work here for us all to enjoy!
